PTSD and Childhood Trauma

Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and Childhood Trauma can bring a person a huge amount of emotional stress in day-to-day living. This could come up as depression or anxiety, can cause physical symptoms, and can affect our relationships with other people. On top of this, even if we know that our feelings come from the past and are not practical – our bodies and our minds still take over.

This can impact our lives dramatically, and living with these traumas can cause great stress and affects all areas of our lives in a negative way. This is no way to live.

Unlike many traditional therapies, we do not need to speak in depth about any significant events that you have endured. We will aim to clear the emotion attached to trauma, and we can do this via techniques that detach us from the event. We can help you in this situation by talk-therapy, practical and logical ideas that could help you live day to day.

This will allow you to move forward in your life with a lot more ease.
